Koide Hitoshi & Friends "There'll Be A Day" CD

This is a recording of a fulfilling live performance from the final years of guitarist/vocalist/music writer Hitoshi Koide! His spirited and lively singing and playing are heartwarming, making it hard to believe he would pass away so suddenly so soon!

Guitarist, vocalist, and music writer Hitoshi Koide passed away suddenly in January 2024. In his final years, Azuma Mitsuyoshi recorded him on stage with his trusted friends!

This package captures the joyous moments when he joyfully introduced the songs, sang, played guitar, and marched through the audience with a cable in hand. It captures not only the songs in which he fronted the stage, but also his attentive support for the other members' singing and solos. Recorded in 2022 and 2023 at Koenji JIROKICHI and Nakano Bright Brown. Produced by Shunsuke Yamamuro and Mie Senoo.

The title "There'll Be A Day" comes from a song by Jimmy Reed, a favorite of Koide's. The line "I'm the one who'll come to see you someday" is layered with the sentiment of "See you again!"
