Pharoah Sanders and Wendell Harrison (TRIBE), two giants of spiritual jazz, finally unite!

Pharoah Sanders, who carried on Coltrane's legacy, transcending the physical realm of sound to move the spirit through his performances across mainstream and alternative jazz until his passing in 2022, is dearly missed. And Wendell Harrison, the leader of Tribe, who has consistently championed blackness and spiritual jazz independently from Detroit. Though aware of each other, these two never collaborated in life, yet they serendipitously meet now in the form of a tribute live performance for Pharoah Sanders! In July 2025, under the significant spiritual jazz theme of universal love and peace, "Love & Peace," and with a wish for love to overflow in this chaotic world of conflict and for peace, Wendell's TRIBE JAZZ ENSEMBLE will eternally carry on Pharoah Sanders' legacy with spiritual healing.
