Zachary Crawford "The Future Was Disappointing" CD
★Supervision and commentary: Kanazawa Toshikazu (Light Mellow)
Irish singer-songwriter Zachary Crawford's second album, produced like his previous one by Phil Martin (Dawn Patrol, Martin & Garp), is a much more fulfilling album than his debut!
"Irish Zachary Crawford's long-awaited second album is an evolution of his debut, with more intelligent, half-bitter gentle pop. It was produced entirely by Phil Martin, who has worked with Martin & Garp and Dawn Patrol. It's a concentrated expression of the current form of updated West Coast AOR and yacht rock." -- Kanazawa Toshikazu
This is the second album by Zachary Crawford, a self-proclaimed Irish nostalgic rock musician. His debut album was produced remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this time he went to producer Phil Martin's studio in the Netherlands and recorded live. This worked to his advantage, resulting in a work of higher quality than his previous work. His sophisticated sound and gentle singing voice are wonderfully pleasant.
