Daido Moriyama is a leading Japanese photographer who has been at the forefront of global photography since the 1960s. He continues to inspire artists around the world, and one of his greatest admirers is musician Seiichi Yamamoto, a leading figure in Japan's alternative scene at the forefront of avant-pop. Inspired by Moriyama's masterpieces, Yamamoto has created an unprecedented work that could be described as a fictional soundtrack. This miraculous work enters the mind of Daido Moriyama as he walks around the city, snaps his photos, and expands his senses, successfully sublimating them into music.

The artwork, which uses multiple photographs by Daido Moriyama, is impressive, but the music, which Seiichi Yamamoto has poured his heart and soul into, is also fantastic. It's symbolic that the closing track is titled "Omoide Hatoba," a highly acclaimed group known for its wide-ranging and diverse musicality among all Yamamoto-related units. From trance to vocals, improvisation, and soundtracks, the album encompasses the full breadth of Yamamoto's musical endeavors, spanning from tranquil beauty to noise, resulting in a unique, ultra-progressive album.

The LP comes with a poster featuring a photograph by Daido Moriyama (one of three types chosen at random), and the CD comes with a mini print of a photograph by Daido Moriyama (one of two types chosen at random), both luxuriously packaged.
