Inspired by the haiku of Edo period haiku poet Yasuhara Teishitu, this latest album from Ancient Infinity Orchestra expresses "scenes so beautiful they cannot be put into words" through a beautiful, glamorous, and richly vibrant jazz ensemble of 15 members!
Influenced by Pharoah Sanders and Alice Coltrane, the band's sound is a multi-layered, festive new generation spiritual jazz composed of a wide variety of instruments, including bass, harp, saxophone, clarinet, violin, viola, cello, oboe, flute, mandolin, conga, piano, drums, and percussion!
Following their highly acclaimed debut album "River of Light" (2023), this release is from Gondwana Records, a leader in the UK's new generation of jazz! The Japanese edition includes additional bonus tracks!
