ISBN:978-4-910511-75-7
Bookstores are culture. Bookstores are hot right now!
Amidst the publishing industry's slump, independent bookstores, or "new styles of local bookstores," are opening one after another. Even today, unique and attractive spaces are being created all over Japan.
This book explores the modern "shape of a bookstore" that was born in an era when people can start a bookstore with passion and ideas, even in the midst of a recession, through the valuable testimonies of 18 booksellers.
