Natsunomujina "Temporary Reality Numbers" CD

The second album of this indie band, which is a staple of the bands like OGRE YOU ASSHOLE, NUMBER GIRL, and bloodthirsty butchers, has finally been released! With Takuro Okada (ex. Mori wa Ikiteiru) as the sound producer, the album is filled with nostalgia while also being modern.

Natsunomujina is a four-piece band from Okinawa that has gained the support of the live music scene, band members, and listeners who are looking for authenticity as a talented group that goes beyond the popular description of "emo," such as their talk and session with Hisako Tabuchi (ex. NUMBER GIRL / toddle). Following their first concept album "Mio no Sumika" released in 2017 with a sea motif, they have finally released their second album, which will become a symbol of Japanese alternative rock from the 2010s to the 2020s.

The title is "Temporary Reality Numbers" (= temporary, real, songs). However, the "reality" they depict is not straightforward. They depict the transience and fragility of things such as the "presence" that breathes in our daily lives, the "déjà vu" we feel when we see scenes that should not exist, or the "loneliness" of continuing to search for the location of one's existence. A scene that transcends time and space, as if reality and dreams had melted together while dozing off in a bedroom, becomes sound, and unfolds in a sound production based on precise and satisfying one-take recordings.
