NAGISA NI TE “Even the Stars Never Know” CD
Only "Nagisa Nite" can surpass "Nagisa Nite"! Two years have passed since "Enei" was chosen by Shintaro Sakamoto as one of the top three albums of 2014, and this is the ninth album by Nagisa Nite after an unusually short interval. The band has completed their new album "Even the Stars Never Know" (a total of nine songs), which is the band's greatest work to date.
Of course, Nagisa's customary meticulous sound production based on analog recording is still alive and well, but the finished product is surprisingly simple and solid.
The colorful sounds of Masayuki Yoshida (ex-Rashinban), a keyboard magician who has become an indispensable presence in the sound of Nagisa, rain down even more than in the previous work, and there is even a sense of transparency that transcends psychedelic. The solitary guitarist Naoki Zushi (ex-Hijokaidan, IDIOT O'CLOCK) is currently recording his first new album in 10 years, and this time he will be performing his deeper spiritual tone as the fifth member of Nagisa-nite. The rhythm section of Yamada Takashi (bass) and Takeda Masako (drums), whose weightiness was impressive in "Enei", now approaches with even more powerful and mature power. It would be something like that.
In any case, this is a fulfilling new work worthy of inheriting the success of its predecessor, and it is here that the solitary world of music truly shines through.
