From France! Tokyo-based artist Tapeworms has released their new album "Grand Voyage"! Colorful and catchy synthesizers bring you a pop and cute flight!

Grand Voyage is the second album by Tapeworms, an artist from Lille, France, currently based in Tokyo. From their debut album Funtastic, which was based on shoegaze and indie pop, their sound has changed to catchier synth pop and club sounds, and Grand Voyage is an album that takes you on a journey to a colorful fairy tale world reminiscent of Kero Kero Bonito.

The opening track "Window Seat" takes off with a club pop sound created by a catchy melody that swims through the beats and synth sounds, and continues with "IRL", which is a fusion of their shoegaze elements and electronic synth pop, which was created under the influence of Haruhi Suzumiya. The 12 super colorful tracks can be enjoyed by fans of synth pop and hyper pop as well as indie pop, such as "Pitch Pop", a synth pop song with a slightly sentimental vocal and a nostalgic Future Funk feel, and "Playground", which has influences from French pop, hyper pop, and even artists like yeule!
