Emi & Gel “The Many Moods of EMI & GEL” CD

Emi and Gel are a duo from the 1960s in a parallel world. Their masterpiece, "The Enchanting Emi and Gel," surpasses their previous album, "Golden Hits 1965-1971," which was selected as the best album of the year by Music Magazine and was also highly praised by Yokoyama Ken of Crazy Ken Band. ~Hit & More' completed!

The concept of the second album following the debut album "Golden Hits 1965-1971" (2023) is "popular music produced in the 1960s," just like the previous album. From electric pop to GS, mood chorus, new rock, In addition to soft rock, the album also includes theme songs for special effects dramas and gangster songs. All 14 songs are original songs written for the album, embodying popular music in a deeper way. The universality of the genius Ger Matsuishi and the character of Emi transcend time and space. It has exploded beyond measure. Emi and Ger, who continued to produce masterpieces despite being swept away by the waves of the times, have written a concept album set in the roaring Showa 40s, which was submerged in the deep sea. Their sound-making and character are packed with surprising "essence/texture" and "catchy/popular" appeal that will captivate even young people who love the Showa era. And above all, their songs and singing voices are amazing.
