HARMONICA CREAMS “Stereotype” CD
Harmonica Creams is a one-of-a-kind groove band that changed the image of instrumental music, recognized by 100,000 people at once in Spain. They are rock, jazz, pop, and yet they are new to the genre, Celtic and blues. It all started with the fusion of these two. Two years have passed since the previous album "Alchemy" was produced in Spain with Brian Finnegan (Flook) and others, and this is the first recording in about five years in Japan of this adventurous album of all new songs!!
■Harmonica Creams has been attracting attention in the Japanese indie scene thanks to their four European tours and their overseas achievements, including winning the Celtic Music Festival. The three members each express their own emotions in their music, Their overwhelmingly captivating music and performances have led them to perform at a variety of festivals, from rock festivals to jazz festivals.
■This is the third time that Yuji Tanaka (bonobos, Sangatsu) has participated in the album, and he is on drums and keyboards. In addition, Maki Narita, who has been working on Chara's sound production for several decades, makes a special appearance on the track "Thirtyy ears." , emitting an intense cosmic color.
■The band is made up of harmonica player Mito Kiyono, who lives abroad for more than half the year, mainly in France, and other people with unique personalities and ways of thinking. By creating their own way of doing things and coexisting, the band conveys a message that goes beyond words. The emotions resonate in this work: chaos, volatility, sadness, playfulness, simplicity, impulse, discord, and harmony. Stereotype is a miraculous masterpiece born from repeated experimentation that goes far beyond the boundaries of ethnic music.
