SEAN O'HAGAN "Radum Calls, Radum Calls" CD
Sean O'Hagan of the High Llamas releases his second solo album in almost 30 years! It's a little different from the High Llamas, but it's still a Sean O'Hagan masterpiece in every respect!
Sean O'Hagan, the mainstay of the British utopia pop band High Llamas, releases his second solo album since 1990's High Llamas! After nearly 30 years of delivering some exceptionally enjoyable albums packed with brilliant songs and sonics with High Llamas, this is Sean's second solo album! Laydam Calls, Laydam Calls reflects influences from new generations of artists Sean has arranged and produced over the past decade, such as Mount Kimbie, The Fliers, James Righton of the Klaxons, and Hockney, and sits alongside older traditions. It also reunites Sean with his MicroDisney vocal partner, Kahal Coughlan, 30 years after they first collaborated! Kahal's voice adds to the surreal bloom of Sean's new musical concept. This is a dreamy, superb pop album with amazing songwriting and arrangements.
