Pond is a psychedelic band from Perth, Australia, centered around ex-Tame Impala member Nick Allbrook. Kevin Parker was once a member of the band, and they are well known as the "brother band of Tame Impala" because the members still actively support each other. They have released their eighth new album! This is their second album since moving to the UK's highly anticipated label Marathon Artists, which also has Courtney Barnett, and is the band's lightest, most sparkling and catchy masterpiece, taking the pop-inspired previous album "The Weather" to the next level! This time, Kevin Parker has produced the album, which has a similar mood to Tame Impala's "Currents," while allowing you to enjoy Pond's unique kitschy humor, friendliness, and colorful festive atmosphere to the fullest! They have reached a completely different level from their early image as a "cult roaring psychedelic band," and it's as if they are following in the footsteps of the Flaming Lips...ah, how adorable!
