TAMTAM's musical evolution continues!

In the fall of 2016, they released the full album "NEWPOESY", and in 2017, they self-produced and sold the "EASYTRAVELERS mixtape" exclusively through digital downloads and cassette tapes, which sold out. They held a pre-release one-man show at Motion Blue Yokohama, and at the beginning of the new year, they held their own event "FINEVIEW" in Tokyo, with guests Kaho Nakamura, Yohei Fujii & The VERY Sensitive Citizens Of TOKYO, and each event ended with a great success.

The theme of TAMTAM's new album, which will be released on June 6, 2018, about a year after the release of their previous album, is an innovative and luxurious full album that focuses even more on the pleasure of tone and singing, and balances sweetness and dancefloor-like. The work, titled ``Modernluv,'' features Kuro's increasingly free and stylish singing voice, the band's rich musicality that is supported by musicians in a wide range of fields from indie to jazz, and a strong groove that is influenced by all kinds of black music, and contains many elegant and sweet dance music that resonates with Rhye, Hiatus Kaiyote, BADBADNOTGOOD, and others. While maintaining the unique song composition based on fresh ideas and the familiarity of the melodies and lyrics, the album once again delivers a world-class sound that all music fans must check out.

The album contains 10 tracks in total, including the unquestionably killer tune "Esp feat. GOODMOODGOKU" (M2), which was created with a stunning lyric world in collaboration with GOODMOODGOKU, who attracted attention with their release last year; the upper tune "Dejavu" (M3), which has already been performed live and has generated excitement, shining with a unique balance of pop sense and exquisiteness; "Goooooo" (M5), TAMTAM's style of soul that combines the R&B-like mellowness that is symbolic of this album with vintage rock mixing; and "Night Owl" (M10), with its addictive psychedelic euphoria.

Also, the album features a number of songs with featured artists, which is rare in the band's history, such as a guest appearance by Irie Haru, who has been friends with the band for a long time, a collaboration with Yuta Fukai, who has performed with the band as a live supporter on several occasions, and a twin vocal song with Shioya Yuima. As with the previous two albums, the sound engineer is Nakamura Kosuke, and the artwork is by Yoshitaka Kawaida. The latest artist photo shoot was done by Kusano Yoko.
