ED THE DOG "Shame" CD

★With Japanese commentary

For all power pop lovers! Catchy melodies that anyone can sing along to, and a guitar sound that's easy on the ears! The first album by "Ed the Dog", which explodes with classic UK power pop, will be released in Japan!

This highly anticipated artist of 2019 has finally arrived in Japan, having already been featured on "BBC Music Introducing," a program on BBC Radio (UK) known for introducing Ed Sheeran when he first debuted, where they hook up promising new artists!

Ed the Dog is a solo project launched by Ed Whettenhall, the frontman of the guitar pop/power pop band Fish Tank, based in Broadstairs, a city in the southeast of England. His first album, Shame, follows the light guitar sound of Fish Tank while bringing out the pop to the fullest. It was also featured in BBC Music Introducing, a project by BBC Radio to hook up promising newcomers, and is now the UK's most popular power pop act, with appearances confirmed at major UK festivals this summer, including Leeds Festival, Hit The North, The Great Escape Festival, and LEOPALLOOZA! Starting with track 1 "Funny Turns," with its emotional vocals and chorus melody that's sure to get everyone singing along at live shows, followed by the superb pop tune track 2 "Television Era," with its guitar riff and Ed's vocals intertwined over a light beat, the driving guitar number track 5 "Yes Men," and track 9 "True Romantic," with its sad melody that will touch your heart - this is the ultimate power pop album with 10 songs that you can listen to straight through!
