TJ George is a singer-songwriter based in Columbus, Ohio, who describes his music as a unique genre that he would call melodic groove, fusing pop, R&B, folk, and blue-eyed soul. He has released three solo albums so far, and this is a mini-album that he has completed with a stellar cast of guests. The guests are amazing, but what is most noteworthy is the quality of the album. It is a series of mid-slow, ballad-focused, and deeply flavorful songs. Although it is only six songs, it is a wonderfully dense work. I would recommend this album to not only AOR fans, but also contemporary jazz vocal listeners.
