The Notwist "Neon Golden" CD

The US media "Pitchfork", known for its harsh reviews, also praised it, ranking it 7th in the best albums of 2002 ("Neon Golden"). The sound, constructed with melancholic melodies, delicate programming and live sounds, is one of a kind!

The Notwist, formed in 1989, began their activities mainly in Munich, Germany. In the early 90s, they were active with indie rock to post-hardcore style band sounds, but from the late 90s they gradually incorporated electronic elements such as sequences and programming, and in this work released in 2002, they sublimated into an original sound that fuses a wide variety of styles with the origins of Krautrock, from hammer beats directly from "Neu!" to raw strings, emotional guitar sounds, melancholic vocals with sadness, and delicate sequences and programming! This is a representative work of THE NOTWIST that was highly acclaimed by the US music media "Pitchfork", which is known for its merciless reviews, with a score of 9.2 (Kendrick Lamar's "DAMN", which was ranked 1st in the best albums of 2017, also scored 9.2) and 7th in the best albums of the year! In addition to the 3 songs that were added to the US DOMINO version, this reissue includes 3 more songs as bonus tracks exclusive to the Japanese version!
