Mellowhead is the solo project of Motoaki Fukunuma of PLAGUES, which continues to receive enthusiastic support from music fans. He has completely changed his style from a guitar band, realizing his own unique sound image by recording using Pro-Tools and multiple CPUs. In addition to his first album "Mellowhead" (2003), second album "Untitled" (2004), and third album "MELLOWDROME" (2005), this album includes re-recorded and upgraded songs selected from his first mini-album "Lahaina" (2002), first single "MABATAKI Rewind" (2003), and best album "Velocity Days" (2006), including songs not included in the original albums mentioned above. All of these works are out of print and difficult to obtain now.
His artisanal sound production has been further refined, and he has demonstrated his high potential as a track maker, creating superb pop music that breaks new ground in the post-AOR era. Due to his talent and skill, he is busy as a writer and producer in addition to his work as an artist. In recent years, he has been attracting attention for his work with Motoharu Sano & THE COYOTE BAND and LOVEPHYCHEDELICO. As a producer who is skilled in all genres, he is highly trusted for his quality.
