MONO NO AWARE "Zinsei, Yamaori Taniori" CD
A versatile guitar pop band who closed the third day of FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '16 "ROOKIE A GO-GO"!!
The diverse range of songs is likened to "origami," in which various shapes are woven from a single piece of paper, and this shocking debut album, filled with timeless surprises and joy, is finally complete.
A promising new hope, gradually gaining attention in the Tokyo indie scene, having performed at the Ringo Music Festival in September 2016 and being selected as a breakout artist of 2017 by fashion media such as Fashionsnap.com. The band's songs are extremely diverse, with a twisted melody line and pop sound perfectly balanced, and lyrics full of wordplay and unique rhythms that go beyond the mold of pop music. In their latest work, "Zinsei, Yamaori Taniori," the band likens their diverse songs to "origami," a type of paper that weaves various shapes into one piece, showing that this is a work that contains the universal wonder and joy of humankind. The album contains 10 songs that offer a wide variety of soundscapes that defy the mold of pop music, including "Idosodachi," whose music video has already been released, Aware's first single, "Iwankochanai," a dance rock tune, a re-recorded version of the slow ballad " me to me," and a new song, "Kakeochi," which transitions from a sad, good melody to a passionate guitar part.
