FRICTION『Crazy Dream』7inch
★First press limited edition ★Complete reproduction of the original jacket
FRICTION, an essential band in the history of Japanese rock/punk, released their memorable debut 7-inch EP in 1979, which is reproduced in its original jacket design!
Released in August 1979, eight months before Friction's 1980 album, "Friction," a shining light in Japanese rock history, this memorable debut EP features three tracks: "Crazy Dream" and "Big-S," which were featured again on their first album, "Friction," as well as "Kagayaki," which would later be officially recorded for "Replicant Walk" (1988). The post-punk-infused "Crazy Dream" and "Big-S" are performed at a faster tempo than the "Friction" versions, creating a sense of incredible speed. The incredibly high-energy performances by Reck (b/vocals), Chico Hige (drums), and Tsunematsu Masatoshi (guitar) are captivating. The solidity of "Kagayaki," a track not included on "Friction," is also extraordinary. Many people say that this EP is the ultimate FRICTION, with three unrivaled songs.
