With commentary and lyrics ※Commentary: Hiroyuki Suezaki (bmr)

Singer-songwriter Dawn Richard has already been making waves with her latest work, "Blackheart," which took first place on FACTmag's annual album chart, beating out Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp a Butterfly" and Oneohtrix Point Never's "Garden Of Delete." Now, the long-awaited latest work from singer-songwriter Dawn Richards is finally available on CD!

A black female singer from New Orleans who was once a member of Bad Boy Records led by the heavyweight P. Diddy, and was active as a central figure in the groups Danity Kane and Diddy-Dirty Money, which released top 10 hits such as "Show Stopper" and "Damaged." The album is produced by Travis Stewart, aka Machine Drum, a veteran who has led the electronica scene and is also active as Sepulchre. This luxurious album also features PJ Morton, a keyboardist, soul singer/producer known as a member of Maroon 5, and Trombone Shorty, a trumpeter known for being nominated for a Grammy Award!

After being selected as a member of Danity Kane, a female group formed on Diddy's reality show Making the Band, and releasing top 10 hits such as Show Stopper and Damaged, she released Last Train to Paris with Diddy in 2010 as a member of Diddy-Dirty Money. Her previous album Blackheart was a huge hit, reaching number one on FACTmag's annual album chart, number three on SPIN magazine's Dan Weiss' Best of the Year, and number six on Rolling Stone magazine's Best R&B Albums. She also released a collaboration EP Infrared with Kelela's producer Kingdom on LA's cutting-edge label Fade to Mind, and this album REDemption was released while her cutting-edge musicality was being polished. This cutting-edge soul album, incorporating a wide range of genres from R&B, 90s house, trap, and footwork to electronica, jazz, and blues rock, is finally complete!
