Ruth Koleva "CONFIDENCE. TRUTH" CD
*Commentary: Hiroko Otsuka (Key of Life+)
Bulgarian songstress Ruth Koleva, whose talent has been praised by renowned producer Mark Ronson, who has worked with Amy Winehouse and Adele, as well as Richard Bona, Frank McComb, and Beyonce's manager, has completed her long-awaited new album!
The backing musicians include Anderson .Paak's band member Ron Avant (Keys), Jameel Bruners (Keys), known as a member of The Internet and as Thundercat's brother, Gene Coye (Bass), a bassist who has participated in Flying Lotus' works, and Kaidi Tatham (Keys) of 2000 Black, a unit led by Diego, and other talented musicians leading the current music scene!
Ruth Koleva is a new generation singer-songwriter who has been talked about since early on for her collaboration with popular jazz vocalist Bobby McFerrin and her performance in front of the great Stevie Wonder. In 2012, Ruth became the youngest person to win Grazia magazine's Woman of the Year award and National Radio's Best Female Singer award, and is now one of the most famous artists in Bulgaria. This album, which took about two years to complete with Los Angeles-based producer Kan Vakan in addition to herself, is packed with superb modern soul that allows you to enjoy Ruth's more refined singing voice and the performances of her supporting actors, including ``Rob 1'' and ``I Don't Know Why,'' which she performed at her recent Japan tour. This is the masterpiece of the singer Ruth Koleva, who transformed from a Bulgarian treasure into an international artist, and is filled with even more charm than her previous album ``Ruth.''
