STARVUE is a popular Chicago funk band known for their mellow groove track "Body Fusion," which has been included on numerous rare groove compilations. This is a masterpiece modern soul album released in 1980!

The only album released in 1980 by STARVUE, a major funk band from Chicago whose original version is highly priced, has been reissued on CD. The album includes not only the superb mellow groove "Body Fusion," but also a sophisticated sound that seems to be influenced by EW&F, and sweet vocals and harmonies ranging from speedy funk, disco/boogie, to slow tunes. The Bob Henry ballad, produced by Clarence Johnson, which was included as an unreleased STARVUE song when it was first released on CD in 1994, is also excellent.
