』6×7inch
★6 x 7-inch single set
★Limited first edition
In the early 1950s, B.B. King, who had just begun his career as a bluesman in Memphis, made his full-fledged debut with the prestigious RPM (Modern/Kent) label. This innovative box set, unlike anything before it, compiles the first six releases from RPM that were originally only available on 78s (SP), including recordings made at Sam Phillips' Sun Studio, and reissues them as 45s (7-inch singles)! Reflecting strong influences from T-Bone Walker and Roy Brown, yet heralding the arrival of a new era of blues, this is the rough and tough young B.B. as "Blues Boy." This is the starting point of the King of the Blues, the giant B.B. King!
