A Bossa Electrica is a live Brazilian band from Sweden. They made their name known in Japan as a flagship band of raw fusion, and now they have released a 7-inch record featuring covers of two killer Brazilian tunes. Side A features the Brazilian fusion masterpiece "Tombo in 7/4" by Airto Moreira, a famous percussionist who has also been active in the US fusion scene with bands such as Return to Forever and Weather Report. This song is also well known as the original source of "Samba De Janeiro," which you will probably hear at least once while watching soccer. Side B features the classic "Skindo-le-le" by Viva Brasil. Alive!'s cover of this song is famous, and their cover is also a thrilling finish based on that version.
