Born in Taipei, she studied fashion at university before majoring in jazz at the prestigious School of Jazz & Contemporary Music in New York. Her mellow, oriental, and exotic R&B music, drawing influences from R&B, soul, jazz, and pop, has steadily gained popularity, especially among young people, with her sold-out tours across Taiwan. Her debut album, "Beyond Mediocrity," released in August 2019, has received critical acclaim, and she is considered a leading figure in the Taiwanese pop music and art scene. Her second album, "9m88 Radio," will be released in August 2022, featuring guest appearances by globally acclaimed artists such as Oddisee (US), SUMIN (KOREA), Mitsu the Beats, and StarRo (JAPAN). This fall, she will tour Europe and the US, expanding her horizons beyond Taiwan. In October 2023, she will release her third album, "Sent," in which she beautifully sings in her native language a wide range of styles, from jazzy numbers featuring leading Japanese trumpeter Takuya Kuroda as a guest, to songs by local Taiwanese artists. She will also release her own jazz set, "This Temporary Ensemble," which is her musical roots, in 2022 and 2025, demonstrating her exceptional expressiveness as a vocalist. Her nickname is "Barber."

He began his career as a guitarist at the age of 14 and enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2014. He performed at various clubs, including Wally's Cafe, a long-established jazz club that previously featured members of Lettuce and Soulive, where he was a regular Tuesday band member. In addition to his extensive studio work, he also participated in numerous studio projects. After living in Boston, he now resides in Tokyo, releasing his first self-produced album, "THE DAYS," in 2018 and "Reality" in 2021. These albums, in which he played almost all the instruments himself, have garnered acclaim both in Japan and overseas. His track "Be Free T-Groove Remix (feat. Monique Dehaney)" was aired over 50 times a week on BBC Radio and other stations, was included on two soul/R&B compilation albums in the UK, and later reached number one on the UK Soul Chart. As a sound creator/producer/guitarist/arranger/multi-instrumentalist, he has participated in live tours and recordings with a wide range of artists, from Masashi Sada to AI and LDH artists, spanning a wide range of musical styles and generations. In addition to playing instruments, he also often serves as a music director on set. He is also active with his own band, "SoulFellowship."
