This luxurious 7-inch LP includes two tracks from Crazy Ken Band's second album, Fascinating Emi&Gel - Hit & More (scheduled for release in November 2024), which follows the debut album, Golden Hits 1965-1971 (released in April 2023), which was highly praised by Yokoyama Ken of the Crazy Ken Band and selected as Music Magazine's best album of the year, as well as two new songs that have not yet been included on the album.
The A-side "Hamabe no Yeyeye" is a French pop + soft rock / electric song in which Emi sings about her love affair with a delinquent. The B-side "Okashina Ryugu-jo" is a groovy drug song that could be said to be Japan's answer to "Yellow Submarine". Both are sure to be recognized as high-quality masterpieces that contain the essence of the early 1960s.
"Emi to Gel" has become increasingly popular in recent years due to the Showa era boom and the analog boom, and the long-awaited 4-song 7-inch compact record is now available at 33 rpm.
