CORDELLA DE MILO "Lonely Girl c/w Ain't Gonna Hush" 7inch
★First press limited edition
Oklahoma-born, West Coast-based singer/actress Cordella de Milo (real name Cardella) has officially reissued her first single, released in 1955 on the prestigious Modern Records label. "Ain't Gonna Hush," an answer to Joe Turner's 1953 hit "Honey Hush," features the gorgeous sound of Maxwell Davis and Johnny "Guitar" Watson on guitar, making it a truly cool rockin' jump blues! The R&B ballad "Lonely Girl," which bursts into life with Watson's wicked guitar banging, is also fantastic. Both numbers are soothed by Milo's captivating vocals.
