Robert Johnson 『Kind Hearted Woman Blues(take2) / Terraplane Blues』10inch

"Kind Hearted Woman Blues," Robert Johnson's first 78 rpm release, exists in two takes originally issued on 78s. Take 2, included on this release, is the version featured on the second LP, "King of the Delta Blues Singers Vol. II". Compared to Take 1, the guitar solo is omitted and an extra final line is added to the lyrics, concluding with the narrator stating that he will eventually shake hands in farewell with this woman who fails to satisfy him.As for "Terraplane Blues" on the flip side, while the take itself is the same, the master for this release (P10-7034) was transferred from a 78 rpm pressing that contains Take 2 of "Kind Hearted Woman Blues"—a different physical copy from P10-7022, which features Take 1.
