MIGHTY RYEDERS "Help Us Spread The Message" is brilliantly described as one of the "ultimate" rare groove albums.
The details of the album are still shrouded in mystery, but the songs are so great that the signature tune "Evil Vibrations" was sampled on De La Soul's "A Roller Skating Jam Named "Saturdays"" in the 90s, and in the 2000s, THE REVIRTH covered the song, and it is an undeniable masterpiece that has been loved over time!
Of course, the other songs are great too, such as 'The Mighty Riders' (A1) with its sharp cutting guitars and bottom-heavy bass groove, 'Let There Be Peace' (A2) with its exquisite interplay of horns and clavinet, which is also premiering on single release. The title number 'Help Us Spread The Message' (A5), with its folky sound and peaceful message that gradually builds from a slower tempo, is a superb funk tune, while 'Lovely' (A3), a ballad with soft chorus work. The band's quality is also unmistakable, from upper tunes to middle to slow tunes!
The album has been newly mastered for this reissue, and is also being reissued on the original colour vinyl (clear blue) with the latest specifications, exclusive to this reissue!
