Trombonist Phil Ranelin, who founded the legendary spiritual jazz label "TRIBE" with Wendell Harrison, released his last release on the label, "Vibes From The Tribe" in 1976 is known as one of the symbols of "TRIBE" along with "Message From The Tribe" from the label's first period, and the alternate takes of all the songs on this historical masterpiece are now finally being released as a new album! The dope "Vibes From The Tribe" is now available in three versions, and the jazz funk "Sounds From The Village" is available in two versions, both with gorgeous horn ensembles and hip-hop grooves. This is the world's first 2LP release of the album, featuring multiple alternate takes of the most popular songs!
