SIMI LAB, the hip-hop group widely recognized both within and outside the scene after their 2011 debut album "Page 1: ANATOMY OF INSANE," is finally releasing their 2014 second album "Page 2: Mind Over Matter" on analog for the first time as a limited-edition 2-LP set with an obi!
After the release of their first album "Page 1: ANATOMY OF INSANE," which shocked the music scene with its unique production and the interplay of their distinctive MCs, SIMI LAB continued active, making guest appearances in various fields beyond hip-hop, including rock and jazz, releasing prolific solo works, and performing at festivals. After member departures and the new additions of DJ ZAI and RIKKI, they reunited after more than two years. OMSB/WAH NAH MICHEAL, Hi’Spec, and MUJO-jo created cutting-edge tracks, and in addition to the distinctive MCs, jazz musician Naruyoshi Kikuchi participated on saxophone. The album includes "Avengers," one of the group's signature tracks! MA1LL, who also handled the previous album, is responsible for the cover artwork.
