The NOTWIST was formed in 1989 and started their activities mainly in Munich, Germany. In the early 90s, they were active with an indie rock/post-hardcore style band sound, but from the late 90s, they gradually incorporated electronic elements such as sequences and programming. In this work released in 2002, they sublimated into a unique sound that fuses a wide variety of styles with the origins of Krautrock, from hammer beats directly from "Neu!" to raw strings, emotional guitar sounds, melancholic vocals with a sad tinge, and delicate sequences and programming! This is THE NOTWIST's representative work, which was highly praised by the US music media "Pitchfork", which is known for its merciless reviews, with a score of 9.2 points and 7th place in the best albums of the year!
