Kitsune no Yomeiri "LIFE" LP

From Kyoto's crown jewel to a Japanese independent standard—
Celebrating their 20th anniversary, the most essential band in the Kyoto indie scene, "Kitsune no Yomeiri," is set to release their long-awaited 6th album "LIFE," featuring an elite lineup including trumpet and saxophone, along with guest guitarists Shuta Nishida and Kota Yamauchi!

Having released five albums since their formation, "Kitsune no Yomeiri" has established a unique musical identity that traverses alternative, folk, jazz, and progressive rock. This 6th studio album embodies their experimental history, now bolstered by the addition of trumpet and saxophone, marking the greatest masterpiece of their career by physically fusing "song" and "ensemble." Leveraging the solid community cultivated through their self-produced "Sukima Sangyo" events and an artistry that has garnered international attention, they are ready to step together into a new phase.

Recording was helmed by Satoshi Yoshioka (studio ino, ex: sawa angstrom, LLama), a close associate of frontman Madonashi. Interestingly, Yoshioka was also the engineer for their 2009 debut album "Itsumo Doori no Sekai no Owari," and they have reunited for this 20th-anniversary milestone. The mutual trust born from their long-standing personal and professional relationship resulted in a work of unprecedented satisfaction.

Furthermore, for the first time in Kitsune no Yomeiri's history, two guest guitarists have joined the project. They welcome Shuta Nishida (KIMISHIMA Oozora, UA, AiNA THE END, etc.), with whom the band has maintained a friendship since performing together in 2014 when he was a guitarist for the Yohei Yoshida Group, and Kota Yamauchi (Orisaka Yuta Band), who is active primarily at UrBANGUILD, the band's home base. The two guitarists, with their distinct styles, contribute to the re-arrangement and amplification of the tracks they participate in.
