A classic from the Chicago girl group! The only album from the girl trio The Lovelites, originally released in 1970 and extremely rare, is reissued here on pink vinyl!

The Lovelites were a teen girl trio from Chicago led by Patti Hamilton. This is their only album, produced by local heavyweight Clarence Johnson (along with Johnny Cameron). Backed by the superb Chicago sound crafted by Johnson—who also demonstrated his talent with works by fellow Chicago kids group The Brighter Side of Darkness—the trio delivers cute yet emotional vocals and harmonies! Featuring a collection centered on slow to mid-tempo tracks that are also popular in the Lowrider scene, they showcase singing voices that are so mature you wouldn't believe they were teenagers. A true masterpiece featured in the "US Black Disc Guide."
