"1994," the debut album from Soka, Saitama-born rapper TENGG—who also performs with the acclaimed crew FEL0’s—was released this past May to great buzz, and now receives a long-awaited vinyl release!
Production is handled by NF Zessho, Goofy Bap (FEL0’s), and Effra Beatz, with DJ LICK (FEL0’s) contributing scratches. Guest appearances include fellow FEL0’s member Mid-S, YNZ Bounce and NF Zessho from Oll Korrect, as well as VANY and Eujin from dollneko mansion. While the intersection with various collaborators brings the scene and relationships surrounding TENGG into sharp relief, the core of this work remains his own words and perspective. Infused with a warmth that persists even within a hard-boiled environment, this debut album clearly defines the persona of the rapper TENGG.
