Rapper SPHERE of INFLUENCE, who made a sensational debut in 2002 with "THE INFLUENCE" from the legendary label Def Jam Japan, and was active mainly in the 00s Japanese hip-hop/R&B scene, releasing numerous hit songs, is releasing the analog version of his new album "SPHiNX: Rise of MU" after approximately 22 years, in a limited pressing with an obi!
Based on a sound inspired by 90s hip-hop, the album features a diverse range of genres from tough and jazzy tracks to chill Lo-fi beats, funk, and R&B. With a variety of guest artists, it's a peaceful album that showcases an evolved SPHERE. L-VOKAL, WISE (TERIYAKI BOYZ), ISH-ONE, Shen (E.D.O.), Mao Denda, and JAMOSA are featured as guest rappers and singers, while DJ Tonk, DJ Sachiho, Marcus D, and GENJU aka DiRTY XXL DiGGA participate as producers.
