The legendary group Foesum, hailing from Long Beach, California, whose first Japan tour in 12 years generated significant buzz, is set to release their acclaimed second album "The Foefathers," originally released in 2002, six years after their classic debut "Perfection" (1996). This release marks its first appearance on vinyl, available as a limited 2-LP pressing with an obi strip. Concurrently, a domestic CD version will also be released for the first time!
Widely recognized among West Coast hip-hop fans as a work that rivals or even surpasses their masterpiece "Perfection," this album was primarily produced by group member DJ Glaze. It features plenty of classic West Coast tunes, including the funky "Ain't A Damn Thing Changed" featuring Bo Roc (Dove Shack), who also collaborated on the famous track "In The Wind," and the mellow "Hello," featuring Long Beach native rapper E-White. Other collaborators include fellow artists like Twinz (Tripp Loc & Wayniac) and KAM, as well as Japan's Kayzabro from DS455!
