Shinji Miyake & The Red Rocks' live album, featuring their performance from the final act of Kyoto Taku Taku's 50th-anniversary celebration in 2024, is now available on LP record.
The Red Rocks, a band formed in 2021 to commemorate the 60th birthday of Shinji Miyake (MOJO CLUB, ex. The Timers), released a live album featuring their performances from May 25th and 26th, 2024. These performances were the closing act of the 50th-anniversary celebration for Taku Taku, a long-established live music venue in Kyoto, which was also the subject of a documentary aired on BS Fuji in September of the same year. In addition to two new songs previously released as 7-inch singles—"Shuppatsu," a groovy blues-rock and roll number sure to get your adrenaline pumping, and "Doushite Bokura wa," a pop-soul tune with bittersweet melodies and a touching message—the album also includes "Kokoro no Love Song," a signature song by The Red Rocks, and "Day Dream Believer," a hit song by The Timers, a band featuring a character named TOPPI who bore a striking resemblance to Shinji Miyake. This live album is a testament to the excellent form of Shinji Miyake and the band!
