brooks is a five-member band based in Tokyo and Yokohama. Their 1st album "maison brooks", released in 2025, is finally available on LP. Though in their early twenties, they are inspired by great predecessors across various genres such as Stereolab, Zombies, Led Zeppelin, Sly & the Family Stone, and CAN, performing psychedelic rock with peculiar yet memorable pop melodies.

Tight and minimally grooving bass and drums, mellotron and organ sounds that invite you to time travel, guitars that sometimes folk-like and sometimes fuzzy add color to the songs, and over it all, an alluring vocal that gently shimmers. This is a psychedelia that breathes in the dizzying modern age, absorbing the legacy of rock while allowing each member's unique sound to emerge.
