King Ghidorah, the legendary group formed by K Dub Shine, Zeebra, and DJ OASIS, released their masterpiece debut album "Sora kara no Chikara" in 1995, and the EP "Kage," released the following year in 1996, is finally getting its long-awaited first vinyl release in a limited edition with an obi strip to celebrate its 30th anniversary!

King Ghidorah, the legendary group formed by K Dub Shine, Zeebra, and DJ OASIS, had a tremendous influence not only on the Japanese hip-hop scene but also on the broader music scene. Their debut album, "Sora kara no Chikara" (Power from the Sky), released in 1995, had a huge impact on the scene with its rhyming, flow, trackmaking, philosophy, and attitude that fundamentally overturned the concept of Japanese hip-hop at the time, and is now remembered as a masterpiece that transcends genre boundaries and remains in the history of Japanese music. The release of "Sora kara no Chikara: 30th Anniversary Edition" on vinyl, cassette tape, and digitally at the end of 2025, the 30th anniversary of its release, also generated considerable buzz.

The EP "Kage" (Shadow), released on April 25, 1996, the year after King Ghidorah released "Sora kara no Chikara" (Power from the Sky), includes remix versions of three songs from "Sora kara no Chikara," plus two new tracks: "Jigoku Ezu (AOZ no Shiten)" (Hell Picture (from AOZ's perspective)) produced by Zeebra, and "Jyuyo Sankonin ga Mita Hankou Genba" (The Crime Scene Seen by the Important Witness), featuring T.A.K. The Rhymehead, who also participated in "Sora kara no Chikara." While it had been released as a 12-inch single, the EP "Kage" had never been released on vinyl until now. To celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026, the long-awaited vinyl release has finally arrived! Many heads are sure to be thrilled by this vinyl release featuring the striking artwork!
