Lucid Express, a shoegaze/dream pop band from Hong Kong active from Asia to America, has released their long-awaited second album, "Instant Comfort." They will also be coming to Japan on November 30th for "BiKN"!

Lucid Express, a shoegaze/dream pop band based in Hong Kong and active worldwide, has announced the release of their second album, "Instant Comfort"!

Since forming in 2014, Hong Kong's leading indie band, Lucid Express, has not only toured Asia, including Japan, but has also toured the UK and US successfully. Since releasing their debut album, "Lucid Express," in 2021, their momentum has only grown, and this year they have not only successfully completed a US tour with Letting Up Despite Great Faults, but have also expanded their reach, becoming the only Asian band to perform at the newly launched shoegaze festival "SLIDE AWAY" in LA/NYC, alongside The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Nothing, Her New Knife, and more.

"Instant Comfort," their first album release in about five years, includes tracks like "Something Blue," with its enveloping gentleness and dreamy, beautiful roar, and "Setback," which combines the heavy, fuzzy sound of the '90s with a catchy melody reminiscent of guitar pop, as well as the punchy shoegaze of "Aster." Starting with "Promise Me," a must-have for '90s shoegaze fans, and concluding with the title track "Instant Comfort," the album showcases a wide range of influences, from shoegaze, dream pop, and alternative to indie pop and guitar pop, ultimately landing on a classic sound.
