Anthony Moore of Slap Happy, whose reissue of the phantom album Out has been very well received.
Another phantom album, Reed Whistle & Sticks, which was supposed to be released by Polydor in 1972 but only 12 test copies were made, has been reissued in its original jacket in a miraculous new edition!

■Anthony Moore is the founder of the avant-pop band Slap Happy, which is also very popular in Japan, and was also active in Henry Cow. Produced by Uwe Nettelbeck, who also produced Faust, this was Moore's third solo album in 1972, but was rejected by his German label Polydor because it was too experimental.

■Only 12 test LPs were pressed, a super collector's item that sells for 400,000-600,000 yen among enthusiasts.

■For this reissue, Yasushi Utsunomiya (ex. After Dinner) has worked with Anthony Moore himself to produce the definitive remastering, using a method of playing back almost unused test LPs while dripping distilled water on them, creating a raw sound that is very different from the Voiceprint reissue CD released in 1998. The sound of the album is very different from the 1998 Voiceprint reissue. Enjoy the experimental, yet strangely pleasant, and sometimes unexpectedly unique soundscapes at the highest possible volume.
