A work under the name of the band left by Walter Bishop on , which was a breakthrough as an orthodox pianist!A variety of ambitious works that incorporate funk, afro, and even Latin!

Walter Bishop Jr., a famous pianist known for his masterpiece "Speak Low" left in 1961, left a second solo on "Black Jazz Records" under his own band name "Force Cycle". There are many songs that cannot be tasted under the name. The album opens with a jazz-funk tune "Soul Village" featuring a mellow Walter organ and a running song composition, and then a disturbing dark and afro "N'Dugu's Prayer" with a sense of speed as the title suggests. The groovy "Blue Bossa" on a certain bossa nova and other addictive songs that make full use of the band members' techniques that are not straightforward are recorded in a row!A piece unique to where the blackness drifting in the whole story is irresistible!
