This superb album is packed with killer tunes, including "Morning Spring," which was also sampled in the Pase Rock song "It's About Time" produced by Nujabes! This extremely rare mellow and jazzy soul masterpiece, produced by Florida-based pianist Copeland Davis in 1975, has been reissued as a complete album, including the vocal version of "NO ARMS CAN EVER HOLD YOU," which was only released as a 7-inch single at the time!

This 1975 album was produced by Florida-based pianist Copeland Davis, who still plays live shows energetically, and his own band. It's no wonder that the band attracted attention in the free soul and rare groove movement in later years, as it's full of exhilarating sounds. The opening track "NO ARMS CAN EVER HOLD YOU" (A1) features a beautiful melody played by Davis on the piano, "PERFIDIA" (A2) features a light touch piano and percussive beats, and the fast-paced groovy jazz "SO IN LOVE" (A4) are all excellent instrumental numbers, but it also includes some killer soul tracks with a mellow feeling, such as the medium soul track "JET" (A3) on which Davis himself sings, and "Morning Spring" (B2), which was also sampled in the Pase Rock track "It's About Time" produced by Nujabes! In addition, the album will be reissued in a complete version, including a vocal version of "NO ARMS CAN EVER HOLD YOU," which was only released as a 7-inch single at the time!
