The album "Utsu to Sou" self-produced in 1972 by Nosaka Akiyuki, a singing Naoki Prize-winning author and member of the Yakuza Black Market faction, is being reissued on LP! This masterpiece is full of tricky, biting humor, including classics like "Oh, Heavenly Maiden Never Return (Marilyn Monroe No Return)" and "Black Boat Song"!
This is a revised version of the Yakeato Yamiichi school, a Naoki Prize-winning singing author, Nosaka Akiyuki, with side A being a live recording of his 1972 self-produced performance at a women's university in Tokyo, and side B being a studio recording. The album features songs and stories filled with a sharp, scathing humor that is now extremely rare, including classics among File Under singing authors such as "Ah, Marilyn Monroe No Return" and "Black Boat Song." It also includes Nosaka's debut song "Po' Boy" and the classic "Shark-eaten Girl." The music, lyrics, and arrangements by his late partner, the late Sakurai Jun (aka Nou Kirihito), shine through. The cover is the well-received CD version by P-Vine.
