Kraus is a solo artist who plays thunderous shoegaze music by layering various sounds without using a guitar, and he attracted attention with his work "Path" released in 2018.
This album, "View No Country," is filled with thunderous sounds reminiscent of shoegaze legends such as My Bloody Valentine, as well as songs with a slightly dreamy flavor, and even occasionally incorporates punkish elements, making it a must-have for shoegaze fans.
In the past, Pitchfork ran a feature article titled "Kraus Makes Noise Rock for Anxious People," and his whispery voice, which sounds like someone snuggling up to you in the corner of a room, shines through the roaring noise like a ray of light.
