The long-awaited latest album "SENT" by 9m88, a Taiwanese neo-soul/R&B/jazz singer who was a hot topic during her performance in Japan in May 2024, is now available on LP! This gem of a vocal album features songs by Japan's leading trumpeter Takuya Kuroda as a guest, as well as jazzy, soulful and pop numbers with overwhelming expressiveness!

The latest work "SENT" by Taiwan's leading neo-soul/R&B/jazz singer "9m88" is a gem of a vocal album that "delivers" her best performance to listeners in a wide range of styles! The first pre-release single "If I Sue You, But I Really Only Love You - What If?" (B2) is a cover of a famous song by producer Zhang Yusheng, who was active in the 90s and had a huge impact on the Taiwanese music scene but passed away in an unexpected accident. The guest is Japan's leading trumpeter Takuya Kuroda, and the song was a hot topic for pouring a jazzy and mellow feeling into the original song that was originally highly praised for its sophisticated groove and urban sound. The second single "Hair" (A1) features a moist acoustic jazz ballad with woody bass and strings, but the album also shows off her versatile style! Lin Yi-shuo, the frontman of the band "Yurihana," which is garnering attention for its crossover style of Taiwanese traditional music and rock, showcases his rare expressiveness as a vocalist who can fit a wide range of sound styles, with his high-tension, upper style on "Tsiok Kú Bô Kìnn" (A3), his clear vocals sung alongside folky guitar on "Sent" (A4), and the light bossa nova number "Farewell Summer" (B4).
