This is the only solo album by Sylvia Stripling, who was a vocalist of the Eighty Ladies under Roy Ayers after joining Aquarian Dream led by Norman Connors, released from Roy's "Uno Melodic" label in 1983. In addition to killer numbers such as "You Can't Turn Me Away" (B1), which was made famous by the cute intro to "Get Money" by Junior Mafia feat Biggie, and "Give Me Your Love" (C1), which was made popular by both house and hip-hop listeners by "Full Moon" by Armand van Heerden feat Common.
