Recorded in 1982 at Dennis Matthews' (Abdur Razzaq on the album credits) home studio during Ramadan, this album was pressed in such small numbers that it has been sought after by dedicated collectors for many years. Now, after 40 years, this long-awaited reissue has finally come true!

The spiritual and message-filled poetry reading by poet Rafiyq, the inorganic beat of the Roland CR-78, and the mellow leads of the Fender Rhodes and Minimoog are intertwined to create an uncategorizable sound, reminiscent of hip-hop developed on the loops of electric jazz and rhythm machines that have been evolving rapidly since the 80s. The instrumental track "Reflections From The Grave" (M2), which follows the rich, epic track "The Night of Power" (M1), which is over 30 minutes long, is also an obscure masterpiece that transcends time and space!

Following the LP reissue, which has been remastered from the original master tapes and includes commentary by Dennis Matthews himself, this is the world's first reissue on CD!
